Troubleshooting
1. Failed to download
If you are unable to download Lead Formatter in Google Sheets, it will most likely be because you are trying to log in using a different Google account than the one you’re signed in with.
2. API Key Missing
If you get the error that ‘API Key Is Missing’, it will most likely be because you’re logged in to a another Google account than the one you used when you signed up to Lead Formatter.
3. No ChatGPT Credits/ Missing Card Info
If you get the error that you have run out of ChatGPT Credits or missing card info, you will need to refill your OpenAI account. You can do so following this link.
4. Error: ‘429 Too Many Requests’
This error means you’ve exceeded the daily API requests limit for your ChatGPT API key.
Lead Formatter runs exclusively on ChatGPT-4 (4o); switching models is not supported as it disrupts output quality.
Once you’ve exceeded your limit, you can't make more requests until the next day, unless you upgrade your plan following this link.
Tip: We recommend using the manual tasks to segment your lead lists before starting the AI tasks.
5. ScriptError: Exception: Range not found
If you get this error, you have most likely input a column letter that doesn’t existing within your lead sheet.
6. ScriptError: Exceeded Maximum Execution Time
Google Apps Script (GAS) has a total script runtime limit of 6 minutes for free accounts, and 30 minutes for work accounts.
If you get the error ‘ScriptError: Exceeded Maximum Execution Time’, consider breaking up your lead list into smaller lists and run the task again.
Tip: You can copy paste the rows that have already run into a new sheet, delete them and resume the task only for rows that haven’t run yet.
7. ScriptError: TypeError: Cannot read properties of zero
If you get the error ‘ScriptError: TypeError: Cannot read properties of zero’, it means that the task has completed all rows in your sheet.
8. NetworkError: Connection error because of HTTP 0
If you get the error ‘NetworkError: Connection error because of HTTP 0’, it means that Lead Formatter lost internet connection while running a task.
This usually happens due to unstable internet connection, or because your laptop went into sleep-mode while running a task.
To avoid this problem, make sure that you have a good internet connection and that you have plugged in the power adapter to your computer.
9. NetworkError: Connection failed due to HTTP 502
If you get the error ‘NetworkError: Connection error because of HTTP 502’, it means that Lead Formatter lost internet connection while running a task.
This usually happens due to unstable internet connection. To avoid this problem, make sure that you have a good internet connection and that you have plugged in the power adapter to your computer.
It can also happen because your laptop went into sleep-mode while running a task. To avoid this problem, you can manually set how long your PC waits before entering sleep-mode. For Mac, you can also give your Mac access to network traffic in sleep-mode.
10. ScriptError: We’re sorry, a server error occurred while reading from storage. Error code PERMISSION_DENIED.
If you get this error, it is likely because you’re logged into multiple accounts. To troubleshoot this error, log out of all accounts, clear cache and log in with only the account you used when signing up.
11. ScriptError: We’re sorry, a server error occurred. Please wait a bit and try again.
This is a rare error, and happens because of Google’s servers. Refresh the page, and restart your task.
12. ScriptError: Exception: Address unavailable: https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions
This is a rare error, and happens because of OpenAI’s servers. Refresh the page, and restart your task.
13. ScriptError: Exception: Service invoked too many times for one day: urlfetch.
This error relates to quota limits tied to the Google account that executes the script.
Free Gmail Accounts have lower quotas (20K per day) compared to Google Workspace (G Suite) accounts (100K per day).
14. ScriptError: Exception: Timeout:https://api.openai.com/v1/cat/completions
This error relates to your OpenAI API Key. We suggest restarting Lead Formatter and the task, and you should be good.
